Mac was born and raised in Parker County, Texas, and has practiced law in Weatherford and Parker County for more than 50 years. Early in his career, Mac was elected and served three terms as the Parker County District Attorney. After leaving office, he entered private practice where he has gained a reputation throughout the state of Texas for his excellence in handling complicated, high-profile criminal and civil cases and his dedication to fighting for the rights of his clients. 

A respected litigator and trial attorney, Mac has been named one of the Best Attorneys of America® by Rue Ratings and one of the 10 Best Criminal Law Attorneys for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys. He and his wife, Janice, a retired high school teacher for Weatherford ISD, have two daughters, two grandsons, and two granddaughters.
