Desiree Malone practices in the oil and gas litigation section. Desiree gathered real-world experience by clerking for a Lincoln, Nebraska firm and Harris, Finley & Bogle before joining the firm as a full-time associate in August 2022. She earned her law degree from UNT Dallas College of Law and her bachelor’s degree in International Business & Spanish from the University of Texas—Arlington.
Desiree lived many places before coming to Texas, including California, Kansas, and Nebraska. Desiree spent the majority of her time in Brenham, Texas, which she considers her hometown, and is where she graduated high school. She now lives in Las Colinas/Irving, Texas with her husband Christopher Malone.
Desiree stays active in her community by volunteering her time at her church where she serves as youth leader, judging debate tournaments for various high schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and mentoring several students hoping to become lawyers. In her time away from the office, Desiree enjoys trying new foods, hanging out with family (especially her niece), and visiting local coffeeshops.
