About Bill

Bill’s main area of expertise is oil and gas law including title examination, purchase and sale of producing properties and representation of both operators and land owners in oil and gas leasing and other transactions.
Bill served as course director of the 26th Annual Ernest E. Smith Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Institute. Since 1986, he has been board certified in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Bill joined Harris, Finley & Bogle in 1979 and became a shareholder in 1984.
