About Roland
A proven leader in the Texas legal community, Roland Johnson served as president of the State Bar of Texas for 2009-2010. He holds extensive memberships in professional legal associations, often serving in committee and board positions.
Roland is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court. His extensive experience benefits his clients in their quest for justice in commercial litigation, arbitrations and legal malpractice matters.
Roland has been repeatedly honored for his professionalism and legal knowledge. He was named Sustaining Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He served as board member of the State Bar of Texas from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, he was named Outstanding Third Year Director of the State Bar of Texas. In 2005, the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law presented him with the Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Award.
