About Charles Harris
A founder of the firm, Charles Harris has more than five decades of legal experience. His practice focuses on oil and gas law. He represents both landowners and operators in matters involving leasing, joint operations, titles and conveyancing, production purchases and energy financing. He also assists clients with estate planning and probate matters. He is board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Oil and Gas Law as well as in Estate Planning and Probate Law.
Charles has extensive contacts in his areas of practice. He is a member of the Texas Title Examination Standards Editorial Board. He is past chairman of both the Oil, Gas and Mineral Law section of the State Bar of Texas and the Oil and Gas Advisory Commission of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
